OMG, Rob just said HOBO.

I survived Kimmel, barely.  Yesterday my Mom & I left San Diego just before 9am and arrived in LA around 11:15am.  We exited Hollywood Blvd. with the plan to drive by the Kimmel show and scope out the situation [and I'm not taking Mr. Abs.] As we cruised on by, I saw @TwiloveSue & her daughter, @ZAnyMouse & @Twifixx. I tried screaming out the window to no avail. I then called her to tell her we were headed to brunch and that we'd be back in a bit.

As we headed East on Hollywood Blvd, I spotted a black Mercedes with a WASHINGTON license plate!

Car-liiiiiiiisle!!!

Of course Mom & I went to the NEWSROOM on ROBERTson Blvd ;) It's the same place ES & I sat next to David Slade this last Summer. ES & I have sort of made it a tradition to go there the morning following 100 Monkeys concerts.  If you're ever in LA, check it out! They have a huge delicious menu, and everything is really reasonably priced...for LA.

I sooo wanted my Mom to try their amazing Mimosa's, but they'd run out of champagne...
Sauv Blanc it was :)

About 12:30pm we headed back to Hollywood (from W. Hollywood,) parked the car, changed IN the car (we wore sloppy clothes in the car on the way up) and skipped (literally) across the street to THE LINE, which was now about 30 (?) people long. Very long story short, we found out that the line we were in wasn't the "OFFICIAL" line, and that eventually they'd categorize us by Priority Ticket vs General Ticket. Sweeeet! we were priority, and at the point, realized we'd get in.  So it's less about where you are in line and more about what level of ticket you possess :)

NotSoTwired Mom & Me!!!
PS My hair looks long and green.I need a hair cut, and highlights...STAT.

About 4pm they lined us up by ticket level & wrist banded those of us who were getting in for sure.
Suh-weeeet!

Wooohoooo!

And of course we had to wait in line another hour or so until they let us in at 5:30PM. Once we were in the lobby of Kimmel it really hit me. Holly shitballs, I'm going to see Rob, again. Once we'd gotten closer to the entrance of the studio, I realized just how small it was. Sure, I'd heard that talk show studios were smaller than they appear on TV, but I had NO idea it would be as small as it was. At that point I realized how amazing the experience was going to be.

As we walked to the entrance of the studio, the audience manager was deciding where to seat people. It was like the frickin' draft! As we approached him, we both smiled and tried to look excited, yet calm and completely sane  normal. He motioned to the two seats in front of us....Umm, 2nd ROW??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....to the left. So if you're watching the stage on TV, we were to the left. If you're on stage looking at the audience, we're to the right. GAH!!! I then tried getting @TwiloveSue's attention and she finally looked over and gave me a "holy shit" look.  They had great seats, they were only two rows behind us and in the middle...straight on viewing of The Precious.

Long story even longer, they coach you on how to laugh and when to laugh, when to clap and how loud...etc...etc... It's all very orchestrated.  You're basically at their disposal. AND, if you even attempt to touch your cellphone, which is off of course, they will throw you in the alley with the dude that paints with his own poop.

FINALLY after what felt like hours, it was time for ROB!  Truth be told,  I wasn't sure if I'd freak out.  I have seen him once at the New Moon premiere, where he was about 15 ft away...but it was dark, cameras were flashing, and I just saw the side of him. Then of course I saw the Twifeceta at the Eclipse Premiere, but they were on stage and a ways away.  This was unlike anything I'd ever experienced. Kimmel announced his name and he came walking through the entryway...long, lanky, undeniably sexy...and I about shit my pants right then and there. JJ would have been so proud.

We're behind the girl in the hat, next to the guy in the hat.

As he walked in, my hands started shaking, I lost my breath and my eyes welled up with tears.  It was coming very close to the way I reacted at the NM premiere.  I had to literally CHECK MYSELF, before I wrecked myself.  I was like, "GIRL, you're on camera....possibly....so buck the fuck up and behave!"  Even after my internal pep talk, I couldn't stop the shaking. It was ridiculous.  The entire time he was sitting there, just feet from me, I was fastidiously dissecting him piece by beautiful piece.

Here are my RANDOM thoughts during the entire segment:

1. Holy Shit He's Real.

2. Holy Shit he is real, and sitting here in front of me. Like, he's a real person...and he's just by chance been thrown into this tail spin of insanity.

3. He still seems shocked that people are enamoured with him.

4. He's tall, but more noticeable is his lankiness...gangly....like gumby, sort of.

5. His fingers porn  are SO LONG and VERY feminine.

6. Gah! Those fingers have been inside KStew's hoo-haa!

7. He keeps scratching his ankle. Hmm, maybe his socks are rubbing on his leg hair? Maybe he has dry skin?

8. Ooooh, that neck mole. Gah! It looks just like it does in all of the Twi-movies.  Ha ha ha that girl in line said it was her life goal to lick it. Hmm, I'd like to lick it.

9. I wonder if his penis is as long as his legs?

10. Why does he run his hand through his hair like that? He looks like a paraplegic...fingers curled in, wrist cocked...Can't he just straighten his hand and do it like a normal person???

11. OMFG he's right there. He's REAL. Like, a real guy, a guy who just happens to have become famous.

12. He's not like Edward...AT ALL.

13. Gawd I'd love him to play Edward...in the bedroom, with me.

14. Wait! I don't want this to end...Hmm, wonder if he's going back to KStew's parents house tonight?

15. He's sooooo soft spoken, I can barely hear him!

16. OMG! ROB JUST SAID "HOBO"....out loud!

17. I bet some lucky biotches got to meet him on his way in from the back alley...but at least I'm getting to absorb him for all this time.

Any of you that have seen him up close know that I'm not crazy! Some of this shit must have ran through your heads.  The interview went longer than I had anticipated, which was awesome. But in the same respect, it wasn't long enough.  I'll skip the rest, it was pretty boring in comparison to Mr. Pattinson. I did however get to meet Allison from Twifans, which was pretty sweet.  We recognized each other as she & Kim walked into the studio... we even got to chat quickly after the show. They have a fabulous site and I often link back to them here on Twired.

All in all, it was an amazing experience and I was thrilled to be able to share it with my Mom. She may not be a huge Rob/Twilight fan, but she had fun with me and found the whole experience to be fascinating.  We always love being together...and that's what it's all about.

Here are some vids and pics from the show!

We are shown at 0.25! Second row back, far right, I'm next to the GUY in the hat. I say something to my Mom after clapping like a frantic woman!

And here's @TwiloveSue, @ZAnyMouse & @Twifixx! They are on for a few seconds at 1.25!

And...some pics!!! Of course we couldn't take any, but these are pretty damn good. Kimmel gave Rob an animated framed photo of the MC Hammer Cartoon that apparently Rob loves sooo much. He was genuinely thrilled by it.

I hope you enjoyed, I apologize for rambling on and on, it's just all so overwhelming.

Speaking of, I'm anxiously awaiting so many re-caps from the WFE Premier in NY! Can't wait to catch up!

PS Stay tuned for more pics of us bloggy ladies in line. I left my camera in my car, for fear of death ;)

A Mish Mash Of Awesome Shit.

First, Rob & Reese on Moviephone's Unscripted. Rob and Reese are hysterical together...and obviously Rob is just so damn adorkable! I'm not huge on watching EVERY video out there, but this one is worth it!

And this is even more awesomesauce...Rob going in for the kill...er....KISS! I love how he just goes for it. I think Kristen was totaly caught off guard, like "HELLO ROB, we're still in the line of fire here!"

He's just like "Fuck it, BD is done filming, WFE premiere went great, we're in love, I had several drinks & I'm so getting some tonight!"

#ROBSTEN!

More awesomesauce!

*Rob on Regis & Kelly
Rumor has it @17foreverlisa & @MamaCougar got into the show!!!

*Rob on the Today's Show

*Hawt Kristen inside theatre w/ a fan.

Before I bid you adieu'....

Guess what?!? My boss wasn't sure if I was taking a half day on Wednesday, or just taking the entire day off (for Kimmel.) I told her I was going to work a half day and she said "you might as well take it off if you don't have too much to do, because I don't want to get blamed for you not getting into Kimmel.."

Gah! Looks like I'm taking the entire day off. Rob, here I CUM...again!

I hear the Kimmel show is very intimate, and much smaller than it looks. I hope so! I have seen The Precious at the NM Premiere, about 15 ft away...and again at the Eclipse Convention, but I could use a good up close stare....Gah!

I'm Seeing Rob On Kimmel. I Think.

No lie folks, I got 2 tickets to see Rob on Kimmel.

At first, I was confused. However my confusion quickly escalated to something along the lines of this...

Holy Shit Balls!

It all started when I got an email thread from kiTT with a link for tickets to see Rob on Kimmel Wednesday April 20th. I figured it was a long shot, but clicked on it anyway. I'd tried to get tickets last year, thus had already signed up for www.1iota.com, it's the website where they give away Kimmel, George Lopez and various other talk show tickets. Basically the shows use 1iota to fill seats. Hard to believe they'd need seat fillers for a show featuring Rob...but I'm not going to question it. So I signed on and searched for the April 20th show. Much to my surprise it wasn't blinking sold out. That said, I nonchalantly requested two tickets. Within in seconds the status changed to PRIORITY and their was a little linky to print my priority tickets. Um...what? I think I reverted back to confused. Could this be some kind of cruel joke? I had cramps, felt crappy and was NOT into the mood for cruel jokes earlier today. I clicked the linky and up came some tickets. I printed them out right away & bolted towards the printer, for fear they'd disintegrate.

After some research, I learned that their are different levels of ticket, and priority is the best. It's still not 100% guaranteed you'll get it. Gah! Talk about stressful. I just emailed my boss to see if she's cool if I take a half day. I was schedule to take one this Friday since I'm working an event on a Sunday (super rare)...so I'm hoping I can trade half day. I'm really hoping she'll just tell me to take the day off. We'll see. I have only been there 6 mos and it's just her and I. She's VERY cool, so my gut feeling is she'll say yes to the half day for sure.

Oh & by the way, @TwiloveSue got tix too!
We are so lucky!

I hope it all works out....

This was the show I tried to get tickets for.

I guess I was being greedy considering I'd just been to the Eclipse Convention in LA with the Twifecta. Rumor has it, that MIGHT be doing a convention like that for Breaking Dawn promotions. GAH!

Tent City & The County Fair!

First things first, I must grab your attention:

He looks like he wants to do bad things to me...bad bad things.

On to tents....One of our dear twitter friends Twilove1, aka Sue, is up in LA camping out for the official Eclipse Premiere! She & FKat (Linda) and their daughters all have wristbands guaranteeing them access to watch the stars arrive and walk the red carpet! Elusive S & I were there last year for the New Moon premiere, but did not camp out...therefor we did not get wristbands. We still got great views of all the limos pulling up, so no complaints.

Sue has been doing a great job of keeping us all up to date via twitter & emails. Here are a few of her pics. It's so fun living vicariously through her! Though I'm not sure I could do with that much lack of sleep. She's a trooper!

This is her daughter Nicole. Look thru Bella's face!
This pic was featured in the LA Times!

Black carpet set-up.

Tent City relocated closer to the premiere area.
How fun this must be for everyone!

Thanks Sue for keeping us in the loop!

On another note, today is my Friday. I can't tell you how relieved I am. It's just been one of those sh*tty weeks. I don't know what's been up the asses of our guests, but it's something retched.

I'm looking forward to possibly laying out at the beach tomorrow, that's if the sun cooperates :) Friday I'm going to the Del Mar Fair (county fair) with my Mom. The fair has had the same stuff every year since I was kid, but it's tradition. Plus I'm looking forward to trying out some of the new fair food...if you can even call it that.

Deep Fried Klondike Bar , Deep Fried Pop Tart, and Beef Kabob.
Funnel Cake on a Stick
Deep Fried Butter
Buffalo Chicken Fry Bread
Sweet Potato Fry Dog and Hash Brown Fry Dog (hot dog dipped in batter, then in hash browns or sweet potato and deep fried).
Sparkley Peen on a stick (just seeing if you're paying attention)
Veggie Kabobs
Dreamsicle Float
Ice Cream S'mores
Chocolate Dipped Pickles
Pickle Corn Dog

I usually don't eat fried food, so I'm sure my intestines will hate me with a passion come Friday night. I talk a big game though, I'm sure after the first fried thing I'll be "over it."

Speaking of the fair...

If I squint, it could be me :)

Saturday I'm going to the Twilight Nights event here in San Diego w/ Sue & ES! So excited! If you're in San Diego and going, let me know!

P.S. Kimmel TWILIGHT/ECLIPSE special tonight! Don't forget!!! Check your local listings.

My turn to WHINE w/ WINE.

Why yes, yes I would! In fact I'm drinking Lindemans Pinot Noir ($4.99 on sale, thank you very much!)

Ok, it's my turn to whine. I know that it isn't necessary for me to spew out apologies for my cry-babyness, but I am sorry ahead of time that this post might seem like a BIG FAT DOWNER. I know deep down that my bloggy besties will "get it"...on some level or another, and for that...I love ya.

First things first:

I did NOT get Jimmy Kimmel Tix. Please cue Lykke Li's "Possibility." I knew it was like a 1 in a Twizillion chance, but I really got my hopes up. I seriously feel like I could cry. I wanted it sooo bad. I went to check my account status like I have done every 5 min for the past 4 days...only to see it still said "2 tickets pending" then a big fat "SOLD OUT" next to it. They did say to check back for cancellations, which you better believe I'll do!

If it was just that (lack of JK tix) I might be ok, but it's the culmination of things. As some of you know, I'm a hotel Concierge. I have been for the past 10 years. Last year our whole desk was outsourced. Basically it means another company (very popular 3rd party hotel/flight booking agency) bought the rights to our desk. Although I was able to technically remain a Concierge & transition with them...my pay is quite a bit less. My hourly dropped a couple of dollars, but I kept my chin up with the promise of good commission - this soooo isn't the case. I make quite a bit less, & it's all about selling and a lot less about being a Concierge. As soon as I realized this, I started looking for another job. At first I thought I could be picky...but with the severe demand for jobs nowadays, I wasn't hearing back from anyone. It's been a year now and I still haven't found another job. I know, boo-hoo...at least I have a job...BUT I'm barely scraping by. I am now applying for jobs I'm less interested in, solely for the fact that they pay more.

On top of this, I need a new lap top. As I speak, my screen is floppy and now my keyboard seems to all of a sudden have a thorn up it's ass. My parents and s/o were gracious enough to give me some $$$ to put towards a new lap top for my b-day, but I had to be realistic and put it in my savings account...since that has slowly been drained. Now that I'm passionate about this blog, I fear this "thing" taking a big shit on my head.

Going back to Twi-stuff for a bit...I SOOO want to go to the Twi Convention in LA. Like...bad.
To see these 2.....er.....3 peeps on one stage answering questions would, in my opinion, be mind-blowing.

New Eclipse Banner (isn't it a poster?)
[source]

...But have you seen the ticket prices?!? IF & only IF they release much cheaper tix for Sat evening (when the Twifecta will be there) I'd consider going. Heck, it's only a 2 hour drive North, and I could just drive home the same night..

Speaking of Los Angeles, have I mentioned that 100 Monkeys are playing at The Roxy on May 28th? Yup! But, ES & I aren't' going. It's an all ages show (no offense,) and we figure they're bound to play the Viper Room (21 & up) sometime in June, what with Jackson in town for Eclipse promotions....If we didn't see them, it wouldn't be the end of the world since we have seen them 4 times... but UGH...the shows are sooooooo fun!

Lastly....I really really really really really wanna go to:

FOORRRRRKKKKKKSSSSSSSSS!

"Forks...
or bust!"
-J

I want to go to Forks like a fat kid wants cake. It's become so much less about going to the place that inspired SM while writing Twilight, and more about wanting to meet all of YOU. Each and everyone of you is so important to me. On top of that, I want to party like a rock star with my bloggy besties! Can you blame me?

I'm not sure if this is LKW or JJ...maybe it's texaskatherine
jk bitches *muah*

My Forks Motel room is reserved...did that A LONG TIME AGO. Basically because I'm not an idiot and I know hotels sell out...BUT, no flight. I can't afford it right now, and that DAMN Mother F*cker of a conscience wont justify me putting it on my credit card. F*ck you conscience! Speaking of Forks...if you like the shirt above and want to donate to a needy cause (us going to Forks) visit my Cafe Press Store! Or click the pic on the right hand side of our blog.

Wrapping this up...I do have a whole lot to be thankful for...and I think since I'm in a pissy mood (and it's NOT Thanksgiving) I'll save it for another post.
