The Waiting Game

I wrote a rather haphazard Breaking Dawn Part 1 review last night & noticed a long comment from @ATXgal76. She's a busy girl, but pops in to comment now and again. I can honestly say, she doesn't comment unless she has something poignant to say. Love her!

Anyways, why the hell am I talking about a comment? Because it made me sad.  She didn't mean to make me sad, but she spoke the truth.  Here was the very last paragraph of her comment:

"I too cannot wait till part 2 and HATE that I know it's already filmed and basically being edited. Not to be Debbie Downer, but I don't think the next year will fly by because we won't get any news from filming or fans from the set - everything is basically on the editing table. There will be no more twi-activity (except for the actors new movies) till next fall. Boo hiss. Thank goodness for lovely blogs such as yours and long twitter feeds ;)"

OMG. She's right!!!

Of course I know they filmed both part 1 & 2 back to back,I just never really gave this next year much thought. I don't know that I'm prepared to survive the next 12 mos without any of this...

Crazy to think I didn't read Twilight until August of 2009 & then did my first blog post December 2009, which means New Moon had already been filmed & was released about 2 weeks before my first post!  Now I'm remembering that I back tracked and blogged about seeing New Moon. Wow, I was late to the party. I remember seeing New Moon set pics on other blogs towards the end of filming...before I ventured into blogging. Wow, time flies...

Your Birthday Is Over In 42 Minutes :(

Dear Rob,

So on the West Coast, your birthday is over in about 42 minutes....I know, I know, I'm a failure. Wait just a minute, I'm not the failure! BLOGGER IS THE PIECE OF SHIT FAILURE!

Truthfully, I'm not trying to make shitty excuses.  I had the intention of writing you a sweet little letter yesterday that would conveniently post at midnight.  However I heard rumors that blogger was being

an utter cum hole, so I chickened out. I had the crappiest day at work and the last thing I wanted to do was put time and effort into something that wasn't going to post.  I planned to post again today, but time got away from me and here I am at 11:22pm in bed, in the dark trying to post before the night is over. 

Rob, I sincerely hope you had a fabulous birthday. I wish you the best that life has to offer in the coming year and that you get some solace in that fact that the Twilight Saga is done filming.  I know you enjoyed it, but I'm sure part of you is relieved. 

Thank you for bringing Edward Cullen to life.  You have caused teenage girls to rub glitter over their pre-pubescent boyfriends, awoken sleepy cobwebbed ovaries, and mercifully teased the hormones of women accross the world.  And mind you, Edward Cullen was just the start of this epic obsession....

Robward Trumps Cindo de Mayo! *BD SPOILER!*

Admittedly, I was going to do a Cindo de Mayo post in honor or Rob. Not that Rob has anything to do with Mexican heritage or pride....but don't we all try and fit him in somewhere?

Much to my dismay as I perused google images, there were no pics of Rob with a margarita, Rob wearing a sombrero, Rob passed out in an alley in Mexico, Rob playing a round with a Mariachi band....damn, if only I had photo shop skillz...[if someone can throw *jumping rob* into a mariachi pic, I will grovel at your feet...if we ever meet.]  Anyhoo, I did find Rob with a Corona!

Most of us have seen this before, but hey it's Rob, and I'm sure you'd agree that there is no such thing as too much Rob.

I'd love to share an ice cold Corona with Rob.

So after find that pic, I became discouraged and jumped back on twitter. Boy was my timing good.  Robsessed tweeted a new Robward pic from BD.

I'm sure this movie will have it's "FML, DID THEY REALLY JUST DO THAT?" moments, but I can't effing wait to see it.  That's part of the fun of watching these Twi-movies.....we may be giggling or rolling our eyes at the depiction of certain scenes, wardrobe choices & wigs.....but we LOVE THEM.  AND, despite the awkward moments, we will watch them again and again and again.

Jackson was recently interviewed on a local morning radio show, and as usual, he sounds sexy as hell. Go HERE to listen! Admittedly, he sounds a bit muffled...being a Jackson expert, I've heard him crystal clear...and it's AMAZING!

Anyhoo, he makes mention of Edwards bachelor party in BD...SQUEEE! We didn't get ANY details in the book, other than that it would be tame. I'm wondering how much of a glimpse they'll give us???

Bella Swan The Maltipoo

Today at work (I'm a veterinary technician, btw), I had a cute little maltipoo pup in for vaccines. Her name was Bella. What else is new? We have always had a gazillion Bellas... I even had a rabbit named Bella (circa 2001). The clinic had an incline in "Bellas" over the past 4 or so years, and until that fatefull Twilight Spring 2009 (for me, I know, I was a late twibloomer), I didn't understand the sudden rise.

So Bella the maltipoo... I was holding her, waiting on my coworker to finish up what she was doing so she could help me vaccinate the little girl. I was playing with Bella and out of boredom began to eye her collar and tag... her tag read ... wait for it, wait for it!

I immediately thumbed through the information section of her chart to see if they had called her that in her paperwork. No. "LAME!", I squealed. It's not as though we had missed it, they'd never told us (ahem, admitted). I was giddy and full of questions and comments, some more inappropriate than others... in the end I got a big kick out of telling the owner I had changed her dog's name to her full name in her chart and proceeded to ask her if she had an Edward. I was answered with a very blank stare.
Here's what I had in mind...

Her blank stare met my glazed expression (thinking about fang dog... SPARKLE dog...)... the silence was killing me, so I pressed on and decided to be a bit more blatant and speak to her as though I were speaking to a small child. I asked if she was going to find a somethingpoo with a sparklie peen... she looked at me all disgusted-like before I even had the chance to tell her about Twired... ah, well... I can't win 'em all!

I was referred back to the family of twitard h00r blogs...
including Twired. I found this on photobucket...

Has anyone seen my panties? (spoiler free)

Oh yeah, I remember....

This was all google could come up with.

They spontaneously combusted at the first site of Eclipse Robward. Holy f*ckhawtness. I mean really? I'll leave it at that. Don't want to go into specifics for those of you that haven't seen it yet...cough...Mox....cough.

So yesterday I went over to my Mom's house to hang out while ES was still at work....we went shopping to pick up some extra vino and amaretto of course. Since it was just going to be us 3, we didn't have any Eclipse decorations or cupcakes this time around. I think I'll save that for the DVD release night. Anyways, the sun finally came out around 3pm ( I hate you June gloom), so we made our way to the front porch with some sparkling wine.

I made a sign for the door just in case any neighbors decided to interrupt :)

No fancy signs for us folks.

Champag..er..sparkling wine.

Midway through our wine consumption, I made a friend.

Mom told me to throw "Edward" into the bushes next door...
I gently placed him on a rock down the street & told him to "BE SAFE."

Once the sun disappeared & ES got home we headed inside to watch Kimmel again. We also watched "A Twilight Destiny" on E, as well as "When I Was 17" with Jackson Rathbone. My Twad even sat with us and watched the first two. He LOVES that stuff like a fat kid loves cake. lmao. We ate mushroom ravioli as a nod to Twilight & overall had a fun & relaxing night...even ending the evening with some amaretto on ice with a splash of cream. YUM.

This morning ES & I were chomping at the bit for Eclipse. Unfortunately I had really yucky cramps and wasn't feeling as amazing as I should have, considering the circumstances. I did take Advil and it took the edge off thank gawd, but you know how that goes. When we got to the theater it was dead. Eventually it filled with maybe 10ppl; not shocking for a Thursday morning at 11am in downtown San Diego. We went to the Gaslamp Stadium Theaters, which is the same theater that has been shown in all of the Comic Con pictures & videos. Anyhoo...we sat in our seats and chatted excitedly until FINALLY the movie began.

I re-made my shirt, sans PFach signature. Afraid to wash it ;)

Except the Twired came out a bit separated.
I knew I screwed up when my Grandma asked me what Twi-Red" was....ugh.

The joys of an uncrowded theater!

All I can say is that Eclipse was the best out of the 3 , and Robward looked the hottest. It was quite ridiculous how at some points I couldn't concentrate on the dialogue because he was just that beautiful. Swoon. I need to see him...er... it again ASAP.

More thoughts about the movie once most of you have seen it too.....Cause believe me I have stuff to say.

Moving on, when I got home this afternoon I had a pressie in the mail from one of our followers Munkee! A Twilighty/Robsteny BAG!

As you can see in the book, Jacob shows up at the school parking lot to confront Edward over the fact that Emmett crossed the treaty line in an attempt to chase off Victoria. Naturally, Paul attacked him for crossing the treaty line, & a wolf vs vamp fight ensued. Meanwhile, Victoria gets away. Bella has no idea about any of this because Edward whisks her off to Florida to visit Renee. Perfect timing Edward.

Reading back through it, (because you know it's been sitting on my bedside table for months) I realized that that brand new clip was significantly better than I originally thought. The only part that bugs is that Bella doesn't go jump onto Jake's bike and get whisked away into the mist. The principal breaks it up. Bella sneaks off on Jake's man-bike while Edward is off on a hunting trip. Right? Ugh, too exhausted to go back & flip through the pages AGAIN. However I now have a renewed sense of desire to finish re-reading Eclipes for the um..5th? time...

I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE THIS FREAKIN' MOVIE!!!

Bitch Face Bella, Angry Edward and Sore Me.

Not really sure my post has a point today...do they ever? Hmmm.....it's my day off...it's gorgeous out...and I think I'm going to curl up on the couch & watch Twilight. I'm SUPER sore from a SET class (strength endurance training) I took with a friend at 24 hour fitness yesterday morning. I seriously feel like Edward must have felt when Felix slammed him onto the marble floor.

Can't. Move. Dead.

BUT, I'm going to do it again next week. I was looking for something new, as my regular work outs were getting old...and if you haven't noticed, bathing suit season is approaching ;) I was always afraid to try this class on my own, so it was great to go with one of my RL besties who happens to take it once or twice a week herself. If you happen to have a 24 hour membership, I totally recommend trying this class. It's basically a step class, but you use free weights and a barbell to add strength resistance. keep in mind, you can totally go at your own pace, as well as do it w/ super light weights if you're new to working out. Just to get an idea, here's a short clip.

My random thoughts:

1. Angry Edward is SEXY as hell.
2. Um, that last part...where Jacob is shirtless...OH. MY. GAWD
3. At 33 sec, after Edward asks "Doesn't he have a shirt?" Jake has the sexiest look on his face. Hot Damn.
4. This scene gets me the most excited to see Eclipse thus far.

Yes, I'm still Team Edward. Doesn't mean I can't oogle the beef patty, err.. cake.

One last thing before I let ya go...DG & I had dinner with some friends last night, and even though it was around 11pm when I got into bed, I wasn't tired yet. I glanced at my bed side table which has had Eclipse sitting on it for a little over a month. Truthfully, I've been reading it off and on, and hadn't picked it up for about 2 weeks...I flipped it open with giddy anticipation (as always) and realized I had left off right before Jacob kisses Bella & the famous FACEPUNCH! Pretty neat coincidence.

P.S. I'd like to wish Jeanette over at Robmusement a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope were able to do something fun & relaxing today!

Stick a Sparkly Peen in me-I am done.

Let me start by saying Dread is a very, very verrry graphic, gory and violent movie bordering on pornographic (too bad Jackson isn't included in those particular scenes) and almost made me vomit in my mouth towards the end (at least Jackson didn't bring it on). If you have a weak stomach, seriously, stop watching it at about 1:09. That being said... I thought the story was a good one, albeit creepy and sick. Jackson is undeniably jacksonrific and brought my jacksonitis (that had been preparing to sneak towards dormancy for lack of visual stimulation as of late) to the surface 10-fold. HOLY Hell... stick a sparkly peen in me, for I am done.



Oh and he does kiss two different girls in it + an almost-kiss... one girl even gets to stradle him-

Oh Mr MOS your eyes seem to be constantly smiling... watch out EC-MOS has the whole crooked smile thing going like a raging twitarded panty fire (uh oh, I'm getting Forrrrrrrrks ideas... La Push Panty Fire... I can visualize it now). In fact JACKson had originally auditioned for the role of Edward... Pfft, as if you didn't already know.

Don't get me wrong, I am 100% Team Rob for Edward but it goes to show Jackson was 'uglied' up for Jasper. If they had let any of the MOS, jacksonliciousness show through in Jasper, Edward would have had competition-and that just wouldn't do.
