Twired Does WFE...Finally.

Last night Elusive S & I met at the theatre after work to see Water for Elephants. Sure we might have been a couple of days behind, but hey, we had Taco Bell & champagne! Who knows if we'd have been able to get away with that in a more crowded theatre?  There were literally 7 additional people there...yes, I counted.  And, no one our age...a couple of elderly folks, a sweet gay couple that joked with us about our choice of movie food and two ladies in their early 40's. Random.

Anyway, as the the movie started I knew right off the bat that I was going to love it.  It was pretty much exactly how I'd envisioned it...and that rarely happens after reading a book. Sure, they left out some parts that wouldn't have necessarly worked when trying to squeeze everything in, but I didn't miss them. 

What I did miss was the chemistry I'd envisioned between Jacob and Marlena.  JJ had mentioned this in her post about WFE, which I'd read prior to last night.  I agree, it wasn't there, the chemsitry. Now I'm not sure if that's because we're so used to seeing Rob with Kristen in Twilight, or if it's because it's Rob & Reese and it just didn't work?  Truthfully I didn't feel that he had chemistry with what's her face in Remember Me either.  Don't most of the actors that actually have on screen chemistry, end up having off screen chemistry too? Brad & Angelina, Reese & Ryan, Anna & Steven, Penelope & Javier, Tom & Nicole...granted they didn't all last, but they did have on screen chemistry. Don't let me mislead you. I'm not saying you have to be bumping uglies in real life to portray authentic chemistry on camera, but I'm sure it helps.

One of the things that surprised me the most about this film was how "pretty" it was.  Sure, the pre-teh helped, but it was such a beautiful movie. The costumes and set were believable & very visually stimulating.  And Rob, oh boy oh boy.

Gorgeous.



I'll be the first to admit that I wasn't a fan of the WFE hair. It's not just that it was short (I like his hair short sometimes) it's that it was short on the sides and longer on top....eh...not a fan. However, in the movie all prejudices regarding his hair went out the window. He look amazing, and so perfect for that time period.

By the way, Christoph Waltz was a PERFECT August. Perfect. Lastly, who couldn't adore Tai as Rosie. Wow.  Such a beautiful creature!  It killed me to watch August beat her with the bull hook.

A Mish Mash Of Awesome Shit.

First, Rob & Reese on Moviephone's Unscripted. Rob and Reese are hysterical together...and obviously Rob is just so damn adorkable! I'm not huge on watching EVERY video out there, but this one is worth it!

And this is even more awesomesauce...Rob going in for the kill...er....KISS! I love how he just goes for it. I think Kristen was totaly caught off guard, like "HELLO ROB, we're still in the line of fire here!"

He's just like "Fuck it, BD is done filming, WFE premiere went great, we're in love, I had several drinks & I'm so getting some tonight!"

I told her I was going to work a half day and she said "you might as well take it off if you don't have too much to do, because I don't want to get blamed for you not getting into Kimmel.."

Gah! Looks like I'm taking the entire day off. Rob, here I CUM...again!

I hear the Kimmel show is very intimate, and much smaller than it looks. I hope so! I have seen The Precious at the NM Premiere, about 15 ft away...and again at the Eclipse Convention, but I could use a good up close stare....Gah!

I am beyond thrilled that some of my bloggy besties got to see THIS, up close & personal. Wow.  You girls so deserve it!  He was lookin' mighty fine tonight. Mighty fine....

I spy LatchkeyWife. I was going to circle her face with a paint shop program, but decided to be lazy. I'll let you try and find her. BTW, everytime the live stream panned to the fans, she was RIGHT THERE! I squeeled like a school girl!

So much to talk about, but I'm feeling overwhelmed. Funny, considering I wasn't there. I HEAR Mama Cougar was interviewed...so awesome! I also saw tweets that there was some drama from Fox.  I'm sure all the deets will comes pouring in tomorrow, along with more fantastic pictures.

Love all of you girls, and so happy you got to experience Rob!

I'm so thankfull I have seen him in person, otherwise I might be a bit more stressed about not making it in. Cross your fingers and toes girls!

I Hate To Say It, But....

Rob's WFE press conference pics don't do it for me like they usually do....or at least how I anticipated they would.  I love his hair. It's matured back to more of an "Edward-esque do" vs that "WFE do" that did nothing for me. Sure, Rob does it for me...but that hair was NOT good. Sorry, but we all have differences of opinion. 

Maaaaybe Rob was exhausted this day. We all know he's ridiculously pale because of BD filming...but there is just something that doesn't seem right. Hmm, is it because KStew isn't with him for moral support? I dunno, but whatever it is...gah!

The suit, those lips...gah!  I really cannot wait to see WFE.  Just a few more weeks and we'll all be basking in the glory that is Robowski. Admittedly, I never liked the hair. BUT, everything else about his gorgeous being will over rule that minor detail.

I wrote a post and it effing disappeared. I was moving one of the pictures & the html code got effe'd up. I went to click compose and it truly DISAFUCKINGPEARED! All my thoughts on how Rob was totally channeling Edward on Leno. How I know he's not Edward [cough, kind of, cough]...how hawt I think he looked. How I wasn't really into the WFE hair and how I'm so glad he's got his Twi hair back...shit he's almost sportin' the bouffant. EFF ME. I HATE YOU BLOGGER.

Now That I Can Breathe....

A while back my little Picasa program recommened I try http://www.picnik.com/ I checked it out quickly but was in the midst of doing other things. This time around, @Jaymes805 recommended it, when I'd asked her how she'd made her photos look super sweet. Most editing features are free, then there are a few that cost a monthly fee.


Anyhoo, after watching the WFE trailer a couple times, posting it and then watching it again, I'm now ready to talk about it.

P.S. Totally random, but DG (my s/0) read the book while we were in Maui and liked it. I was impressed he gave it a chance after knowing Rob was going to play Jacob. And the cherry on the cake? He saw the trailer tonight on AI & said he believes Rob is going to go on and do great things [Twilight wasn't great?] But he was worried that Reese would overshadow him... Hmmmm. Very poignant s/o! However, I assured him it's probably 80% Twilight fans that are going to see this movie, and most of us are ONLY going to be paying attention to Rob. Ok, I take it back, I love Reese as a lot of you do...I think they make a great duo...for THE MOVIE that is ;

Bitch Face Bella, Angry Edward and Sore Me.

Not really sure my post has a point today...do they ever? Hmmm.....it's my day off...it's gorgeous out...and I think I'm going to curl up on the couch & watch Twilight. I'm SUPER sore from a SET class (strength endurance training) I took with a friend at 24 hour fitness yesterday morning. I seriously feel like Edward must have felt when Felix slammed him onto the marble floor.

Can't. Move. Dead.

BUT, I'm going to do it again next week. I was looking for something new, as my regular work outs were getting old...and if you haven't noticed, bathing suit season is approaching ;) I was always afraid to try this class on my own, so it was great to go with one of my RL besties who happens to take it once or twice a week herself. If you happen to have a 24 hour membership, I totally recommend trying this class. It's basically a step class, but you use free weights and a barbell to add strength resistance. keep in mind, you can totally go at your own pace, as well as do it w/ super light weights if you're new to working out. Just to get an idea, here's a short clip.

Rob's new haircut..sniff sniff..

Rob was spotted around LA on May 16th, with his body guard and a "new do," I imagine for his new role as Jacob in "Water for Elephants." Gaaah! I miss his hair. I always said I loved Rob w/ shorter hair, but...sniff...sniff....sex-hair, come back! JK....Rob could have a mullet (KStew) & I'd still love him.
