It Smells Like a Freakin' Egg Roll....

First of all, may I point out that as I went to create this post, I realized that the last time I posted was exactly 1 year and 1 day ago. FREAKY DEAKY! That means Charlie was 6.5 months. What the what?! No way. He's now 18 mos. But we can talk about that later. This was just posted today by a friend on Facebook and I'm LMFAO DYING. Not sure how old it is, but it's not one of the vids I have seen before.

I Still Love Rob.

Pretty much sums it up.

Because so much of Twired has been devoted to Robsten, my knee jerk reaction was to jump ship and close TWIRED when solid evidence of KStew's cheating surfaced. I quickly told myself that that would be truly ridiculous. I love Rob. I love Twilight. I love this fandom. And yes, I still love Kristen...despite mistakes she's clearly allegedly made. I have no right to be mad at her. Her relationship with Rob is just that, HER relationship. Their relationship. As much as it pains me to be writing this, there isn't anything any of us can do. Of course I'm pretty devastated that it's likely they wont be a couple during BD2 promotions...that was one of those things that I was really looking forward to, especially after their public love fest in Cannes. But again, NOTHING WE CAN DO. Did I think they'd last forever...kind of, but I'd always hoped they'd at least stay together until the last movie was released....it's selfish really.

All that said, I'm not shutting down Twired. I need it to air my feelings. To support the release of BD2 & the actors we have all grown to adore.

Speaking of those we adore. Have you seen this pics of Rob from Black Book Magazine? Holy cow.

I know it's easy to wonder where the eff Kristen's head was when she cheated on this man-god...but we all make mistakes. For those of you hating on my 1/2 joking comment over at Twitarded, hear this: I was 22 once, and made my share of mistakes. I'm not saying it's excusable or that Rob should forgive her. And yes, I do think she was super stupid about it....especially since she's famous, and knows very well that the paps will find you if your a celeb of that caliber. Clearly she wasn't thinking, and just acting on instinct...like a lot of do when we're younger.

I ask this of you all, please don't be so quick to HATE. It's a strong word.

Speaking of, I CANNOT WAIT for BD2 promotions.I assume promotions will start late September maybe early October? What do you think? I'm due Oct 1st...so thankfully I won't be hold up in a hospital bed during peak promotions...nope, I'll be at home on my couch with a newborn stuck to my boob while I watch the shenanigans unfold.  Hey, something to pass the time ;)


Oh and if it's a boy....have I told you what the middle name will be? Yup, Robert. But sadly I can't attribute it to Mr. Pattinson. My Papa's (grandfather) name was Robert and DG's brother is named Robert....but hey, part of me likes to think that people might just assume there are 'other' reasons for the middle name choice...

My search for Robsten failed (as did my quest to see ASkars again, but that's a different blog), though admittedly I can't say I tried all that hard. Being 7 mos preggo kinda put a damper on my energy.

Kristen - So Poised. I'm Impressed.

Kristen was on the Today Show this morning, and boy was she poised, eloquent and put together. Kristen is one smart cookie...truly intelligent. It's something a lot of us have always known about her simply by her extensive vocabulary, and way of describing movies, characters and experiences. However, she tends to stutter & twitch as we all have witnessed. I think she's just uncomfortable, shy & as I have said before, her mind is goes a mile a minute...it's like she can't keep up with her own brilliance. Make sense?

That said, she was very calm and seemingly more comfortable (as @tonguetwied also pointed out) on Today....and even Regis & Kelly. I can't find a good video of that bit though...

Again, she doesn't look the least bit tired. Wish we could all look that fabulous after endless travel and press.

Cosmopolis Robsten-y Goodness

Many on twitter have said it, that Cannes 2012 is like Robsten's official coming out. I don't necessarily agree, or disagree. Robsten has been out for a long time. Sure they haven't released a public statement, but you'd have to be a raging lunatic blind not to see the love these two share. They definitely haven't been shy about showing it these past few days, that's for sure. I think they're just so damn proud of each other, and have been each others rock through the past few years. I imagine it's very emotional & almost cathartic for them both to have movies premiering at Cannes simultaneously. Plus, they're both growing up...It's seeing them like this that touches me so deeply. As cheesy as it sounds, it truly stems from knowing that these two met while Rob was auditioning to play her love interest. Getting to witness them fall in love on and off screen has truly been a magical experience.

Mushy stuff aside, so many amazing pictures were surfacing today. I only had to go into the office for a bit to deliver some checks before Noon, but then had to return for a quick site inspection at 3pm (ANNOYING! Esp since the boss said I could take off early.) But you better believe I was glued to twitter! Now that I'm home & cozied up, I'm going to post some of my favorite pictures from the day. Most are from Robstenation & Robsessed.

I Heart When KStew Flips The Bird

It's probably kind of mean and disrespectful that I'm posting this, but hey, I really dig it when KStew flips the bird!

The girl has got to be exhausted. She just left Mexico City, maybe had a few hours at home then turned right back around and headed out of LAX to France. Geeeeezus, I'd be flipping more than just the bird. Bet she can't wait to get to Rob & cozy up in their hotel. 

I'm anticipating quite a few photos surfacing in the next few days. Hoping we get to see the two of them together. I also hope they truly enjoy their time in Cannes.  Middle finger and all ;)

Everyone Has An Opinion

I know, I know, everyone has an opinion on who would be best for the role of "Christian Grey" in "Fifty Shades of Grey."

And pretty much that opinion is this guy:

I mean he is the guy we all envisioned, correct? Ok, maybe not all of us, but I'm willing to best most of us...me included. But sadly, I doubt it will happen. I'm not going to bet $ on it, but I'm pretty sure we won't be blessed with that little nugget of fabulousness. Sigh....

Having said that, I had never considered who else would work....It's not like I wouldn't typically put thought into these scenarios, it's just with work & preggo brain, I don't do a lot of valuable thinking these days. Or at least thinking that deals with fictional characters.  Until now....

The lovely @tonguetwied send me THIS ARTICLE, knowing how much of an Alexander Skarsgard fan I am. I truly about choked.  He's PERFECT for the role. No seriously. He's tall, somewhat intimidating, handsome, sarcastic & smart...and that's just ASkars being himself.  When he plays Eric Northman on True Blood, he's even more perfect. Domineering, stubborn, sexy as hell & capable of falling in love with an innocent girl. See!?! 

Here's more proof, IMO.

I realize you may completely disagree, and that's why everyone is totally entitled to their own opinion. But just thought I'd share mine.

As far as "Anastasia" goes, of course I'd love to see KStew play the role. I think she could pull off the clumsy, submissive deal very well. And I swear, I'm not just saying that because I love her like a fat kid loves cake. I mean, tell me you can't see her in this roll?! I can totally hear Kristen's voice narrating as her inner Goddess.

So here I am on this lovely Saturday evening, gearing up to watch the Kids Choice Awards. Yes that's right, I'm 32 & super excited to watch. Ok, mainly it's because I knew KStew was going to be making an appearance. I even watched the Orange carpet pre-show on E, in hopes of catching a glimpse of her. Sure enough they showed her arriving and walking the carpet. She looked AMAZING. The blue lacey dress with the sexy blue shoes & ponytail were stunning. Of course I went on twitter to rave about it & stumbled across a tweet from Twilightish saying that Kristen had won Favorite Female-something-rather.  Damn you twitter! Oh well, I'm still going to watch it. It just started here on the West Coast.
