There has been some tagging going on in the bloggy-verse this week, and I was starting to feel a bit left out. JK. Truthfully I was just feeling bored & there hasn't been much to post about...
Guess who came to my rescue?! The LOVELY Jelena from Confessions of a Twiholic.
1. What is the favourite spot (aside from Forks) that you've ever visited?
I was born and raised in San Diego and can't imagine living anywhere else. But I know that's not the question, just thought I'd throw it out there. I have two favorite cities: In the United States I'd have to say San Francisco, hands down. It's an ah-mazing city! I have only been their twice, however I'd love to spend a full week because I feel you'd never run out of things to do. Great shopping, restaurants, arts & culture...plus, it's on the water.
Outside of the US, I'd have to pick London. My Mom & Grandparents were born there, so not only does it have a special meaning for me, it's also a very metropolitan city with tons to do...much like San Francisco. I have been to London 3 times and fell in love with it...minus the cold.

2. Would you rather live by the sea or in the mountains?
Lisa if you're reading, close your eyes! No wh*les, just an oc*an pic.
I have to leave near the ocean...not on it, or even within 15 minutes...but I have to know it's near. Maybe because I grew up on a sail boat, or because my Dad's a surfer and we spent tons of time at the beach while I was growing up? I just can't imagine not living near the coast. The thought of being landlocked makes me feel claustrophobic. Mountains are pretty, but overall they kinda give me the creeps. I guess this also means I could live in Forks...since the drive to the beach was only about 20 minutes!
3. What was your worst ever nightmare?
I've had dreams about my Mom & or Sister getting a terminal illness or hurting themselves. Those types of dreams are always the most traumatizing. However, as far back as I can remember I have had dreams involving dead horses on the side of the road or freeway. Sometimes they're mutilated and sometimes they are fully intact...but always on the side of the road. I read once that dreaming of dead horses means you're holding yourself back from something, because a horse is supposed to symbolize your inner strength/desire/passion etc... Guess what I got when I google dead horses? SERIOUSLY...among a bunch of dead horses, this came up:
Any thoughts Mrs. P?
4. What did you dream of becoming when you were growing up?
Oh gawd, Lisa is going to disown me. I dreamed of being an oceanographer/marine-biologist specializing in shark research...much like this guy:
5. What's your favourite fruit?
Oddly enough, I'm not a huge fan of fruit. I'll take apple juice please.

6. Do you prefer tea or coffee?
I like tea too, but prefer coffee first thing in the morning.
7. Which booze do you always have at your house?
Beeeeeeer. Because if I don't have it, my boyfriend does. Though he drinks regular Michelob...ultra is my thing.
8. Did you ever ride on a horse?
Yes once, on the beach down south near Mexico...not IN Mexico. It was a 3 hour ride...and the insides of my legs hurt like a Mother effer. It was as if Fifty had had his way with me....well now that I think about it that way...
Apparently I'm supposed to tag people, but I swear I'll tag someone that has already been tagged...so how bout this, if you want to be tagged...consider yourself tagged!
Here are my questions: [I'm supposed to make them up randomly right?]
1. Do you have any phobias? If so, what are they & why do you think you have them?
2. What's your favorite all time movie (not including the Twilight movies)?
3. Do you have a favorite flower?
4. What is your proudest moment thus far?
5. If you had to eat 2 things for the rest of your life, what would they be?
6. What's the worst injury you have ever sustained?
7. What's your biggest pet peeve?
8. You have to have sex with either Steve Buscemi or Ron Jeremy...who do you choose?
P.S. My friend just started a cooking blog...check her out, and if you like..FOLLOW! Hint: Check out her True Blood Cake!

It's always fun to see bloggers answer questions...
ReplyDeleteNow, onto other things. Your friend made a True Blood cake? I'm heading over to her blog.
Great answers. Can I answer one of your questions right here? How about my biggest pet peeve? I can't stand intolerant people.
ReplyDeleteI always have Baileys in the house because I'm a coffee drinker and what better way to start the morning than with a little whiskey.
I love to cook and eat....so I'm loving Starting to Simmer! Went over and clicked Follow! :)
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean about not being able to live somewhere that is landlocked. That's what I love about Chicago.....Lake Michigan is so big, it looks like the ocean when you are standing by it. I don't go down there that often, but it's I feel better knowing it's there. :)
