Look Who's Modeling For Macys!

I'm probably going to sound like a broken record, but eff it, I miss YOU. By YOU, I mean everyone I had the honor of meeting in Forks. I know that so many of us have blogged about our shared experiences, whined about missing everyone, and raved about how amazing of an experience it was...but REALLY, it was AHHHH-MAAAZZZING!

My Mom would probably disown me for saying this, but I'm easily intimidated by certain personalities. In a nutshell, I was excited, yet super-dooper nervous to meet some of you...I wont name names ;) However I will say that those I was intimidated by online, became the ones I really hit it off with in Forks. And those I had hit it off with online, became those that I just fell into an easy comfort zone with. Overall, it was a win win situation if you ask me.

Anyhoo, as quite a few of you know, I turned my Forks weekend into a full 8 day hiatus from work. Today was my first day back. It was bizarre coming home from Foooorks on Sunday night & knowing I didn't have to go back until Thursday. BUT, I did have an interview to brave on Monday morning.....And guess what??? I GOT THE EFFING JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be an "Event Coordinator" focusing on restaurant events etc. Sweeeet! After being a hotel Concierge for the past 10 years, I'm ready to move on. I'm so over working weekends & holidays! Anyhoo, all of this time off, mixed with missing all of you, AND the excitement/nervousness of a new job... have me all screwed up! I seriously woke up this morning not only wondering where I was, but WHO I was. Geeeeez, I need some vodka. jk....kind of.

Ok...back to my focus....Tonight my Mom texts me this picture, and the body of the text says,

"Look who's modeling 4 Macy's!"

Um...Mr. Edward Cullen Wannabe, you look like you're 13. MOVE ALONG.

P.S. Do you even have pubes?

That's more like it.

And I bet he has pubes. Wait...do Vamps have pubes?

My response to my Mom: They are so milkin' it!!!

Cleary my Mom knew it wasn't Rob...thankgawd, or I might have to disown her.

That's all I've got forks, I mean folks. Wait a minute....

One of the rocks I borrowed from Rialto Beach :)

Puffy heart you ALL. Hardcore.

XOXO J

  2. Yay on new job too!! Holidays and weekends DO suck. It used to KILLLLLLLL me when I couldn't get to friends' bbq's, dinners, etc, to cover some fair or a spaghetti dinner or some crap. Hope it pays more too.

  4. Regular hours, woooohoooo! Working for the airlines had me in the same situation. I missed so many family Thanksgivings, Christmases, and countless fun New Years due to working weekends, holidays, and nights. And the yard workers firing up the leaf blowers at 7am just about killed me! Congrats on the new job, Jen! It sounds fun.

  5. Congrats on the new job! Yeah!!

I gave one of the rocks I "borrowed" from the beach to a girl in my son's class. I was going to write on it like you did, but figured she could do her own thing with it instead. She is Team Jacob (and 10) so she was SUPER excited to have something from Forks. Good thing she's cute, or I would have to tell my son he wasn't allowed to be friends with that dog-lover! Kidding...sort of!

    Enjoy the new job!

    But...

CONGRATS ON THE NEW JOB!!! Event coordinator will be so much fun for you. (Okay, I'm not going to lie, it sucks ass some time when I have to do it. Hehehe)

But you are big pimping, working for a hotel! So super happy for you!!

  7. Once again: yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay for your new job!! I know how miserable you've been since the outsourcing, and I am super excited for you!! When do you start??

I love that everyone tries to capitalize on pop culture. It's like the clearly-Twilight-themed anti-drunk-driving billboard I posted awhile back - just because it *looks* like Twilight, doesn't mean anything, LOL.
